The Auckland ICT main web site is in the process of a complete rebuild and is on the eve of going live. In the meantine the older pre-existing web site has been hit again by a major virus attack, hence we have redirected the url to this AucklandICT Blog Site for the next few weeks.

So please bear with us as we prepare the final pieces on the new enagaging dynamic web site that is designed to enhance members, bring new dynamic content, online registerations and much much more.  Here is a sneak preview 🙂 Also a big thanks to the Convalense team who have created the new web site as part of their support of  AucklandICT… thanks guys.

APRIL 2010 Auckland ICT Meeting

Be one of the first people to hear about an exciting new initiative to link ICT companies across the Tasman at the April AucklandICT event.

Title: Preview of Website and preview of Trans-Tasman ICT Link-up
Our April event is being hosted by Gold Sponsor, Auckland City Council, at one of the city’s premier venues, the Auckland Town Hall.

Website Launch
We will be giving a preview of the new Auckland ICT website designed by Auckland ICT member, Covalense later this month. Hopefully this means some of the recent website challenges are a thing of the past. Thanks to Covalense we will shortly offer smoother user registration and a really useful member company database when the new web site goes live.

New website features that should be of great benefit to our members include:
o Enhanced member directory allowing prospects and partners to more easily search for your business by sub-category
o Member news, whereby members can post news items
o Featured member profiles, which will be changed each month.

Preview of Trans-Tasman ICT Link-up
Hear from Elena Vasilchenko of IISEIE and Sharl Gedye from Austrade about an exciting development in trans-Tasman opportunities for Auckland ICT companies. A virtual Trade Mission will allow Auckland ICT companies to hear from Australian companies which are looking for NZ Technology partners. Auckland ICT members eager to get into Australia, will also get the chance to prepare a five-minute recorded presentation that will be played to relevant Australian companies. Where there are synergies between two companies, a private one-on-one video conference will be held at the Australian Consulate to make formal introductions.

This is a great opportunity for Auckland ICT members wanting to make connections in Australia, and to hear from potential Australian companies wanting to make Kiwi connections as they enter our market. Details will be announced at the event, so make sure you do not miss out!

Event Cost
We have introduced two new rates. Payment is by Direct Credit or cheque in advance. We do not accept payment by credit card.
Auckland ICT Members $15
Full-time students $10
Members of NZICT Group $20
Non-members $25
Prepaid Event Attendance
Instead of paying $15 for each event, all financial members can pay $100 for one person to attend one event a month for the following 12 months. This is transferable to another person from the same member company.
